Our under 12s group is for children aged 8-11 and we meet every Saturday morning in Barkby at Barkby Village Hall.
Nurturing a young person’s creativity helps build vital social and physical skills, which in turn improves their self-awareness, self-esteem, mental health and wellbeing. Our two-hour weekly sessions provide a safe, creative and encouraging environment for members to play, explore drama and performance, and exercise their imagination.
Play is at the heart of everything we do. Our drama workshops involve:
• Games • Improvisation • Creating characters • Different theatre styles • Devising
• Acting for TV and film; in front and behind the camera
